some see the world as it really is

Years ago I started noticing that people that I rightly assumed as crazy seemed to always be right. Dramatically pointing fingers, attacking those in power, and spreading gossip in what seemed like crying “wolf”. We would ignore them and chuckle and laugh at their flailing.

Then I started to notice that though they weren’t always exactly right . . . they seemed to realize that something was wrong but weren’t always able to communicate what exactly what was the problem.

It was then that I came to the horrific realization that crazy people are crazy because they see the world as it really is and THAT is exactly why they are crazy!

See, the rest of us put on blinders and put up our defenses and it keeps us sane. Well, at least we have the appearance of sanity but I am not completely sure who is sane and who isn’t anymore.

So now, when I see a crazy person pointing something out . . . I know they are probably wrong but I also wonder what underlying evil or TRUTH they are seeing that I am missing.
